Digital SLR for New dSLR Owners

This is NOT a canned lecture where you are left to muddle your way through complex concepts by yourself. This is a real-time, interactive class, just like any physical class. The instructor (that’s me) is on a audio/video conference call with you via the Internet. You sit in front of your PC or Mac at home in a comfortable seat and watch my PowerPoint slides, listen to my lecture and ask questions as they occur. Answers are immediate and, if you still don’t understand, ask again.

If you’re a new dSLR owner and you want to better understand your camera, this is the class for you. In just 3 hours, Lee Otsubo, The Digital Photo Guy, will show you how to get out of Auto Mode (P&S, aka Pray & Spray) and make the photos you want, not the photos the camera took.

Learn how P(rogram) Mode is the easiest way to get control of your camera. Learn the advantages of A(perture) Priority and S(hutter) Priority Modes. Use M(anual) Mode for creativity like you’ve never known. After the class, you have free access to a recording of the class so you can review parts where you still have questions.  This class is designed to get you up to speed quickly. There’s no theory, just hard practical advice.

Join the 21st century and learn at Internet speed.  The only things you’ll miss are the anxiety of rushing to class to search for a parking space, the thrill of beating the parking Nazis, the sugar rush of stale vending machine snacks and the joy of chairs designed for 20-year old butts.
